any idea who made this and if it's authentic?

this came from an antique estate sale buyer, and I bartered the couch for wedding photography services. How do I tell if it's an original?

Looks repro to me based on the tell-tale Asian carvings.

+ it seems like the condition is "too good," if you know what I mean. And I know you do.....

Still, it should serve perfectly well as a photographer's prop.
