Message Board Notifications Tip
« on: March 16, 2008, 02:06:47 PM »

If you enjoy stopping back at the forum and reading new messages from time-to-time, you can instead be notified immediately via email when new messages hit the boards.

To be notified of *any* new topic inside a particular board:
1. Go to the board, e.g. "Auction Watch", and once viewing the complete posting list, hit the "Notify" button in the upper right hand corner.
2. It will ask you if you wish to be notified of new topics, click "ok"
3. Repeat for each board you want to be notified of updates to (e.g. Classifieds, then Victorian Furniture, etc.)

To be notified of any replies to a particular message:
1. Navigate to the individual posting by clicking on the title from a board
2. Click the Notify button
3. Hit OK

You can also edit more notification preferences via your "Profile" page, then going to "Notifications"
