1858 Foster & Lee sofa
« on: February 05, 2010, 01:10:07 PM »

I came across this sofa in a community an hours drive north of Toronto, Ontario.  It is identical to the sofa in the 1858 Foster & Lee catalogue except for the additional piece of decoration attached to the skirt.  I believe Foster & Lee were New York City wholesalers and obtained their furniture from at least two different manufacturers.  Has anyone heard of Foster & Lee?  Canadian Maple
