Herter Dresser & Wash Stand?
« on: March 13, 2010, 02:48:22 AM »

I bought a wash stand today, it is beautiful! It was a wonderful price so if this isn't a Herter my feelings aren't hurt, but it just strikes me as Herter. Let me know what you think!

Well, 117 is certainly the model number, and it's about 1880--clearly looking at aesthetic movement design--but it's not like anything Herter I know of.  Something makes me think of the midwestern manufacturing centers, like Grand Rapids or Chicago. Love the brass applique
