I have a desk secretary and the only thing I know about it is that my mother's step mother bought it at an estate sale in the 1940's. I'm hoping somebody can enlighten me a little more about this piece. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Photo's attached.

Ha, I was going to say that it looks like it was made in the 1940s. Colonial revival, probably mahogany, definitely not Victorian.

Still, it's a pretty piece and worthy of its care...
