Hi Folks! I just bought an oak double-door bow-front cabinet that I'm trying to research. Seller said it came from her Great Grandmother living in Murry, Idaho.

I've searched and searched the internet for a similar example and can not find anything like it. What's hard to find is a bow-front with double doors. There's lots of single-door bow-fronts, but I haven't seen another double door.

Can anyone help me get started on figuring out the origin and rarity of this cabinet? You'll probably notice right off that it is probably missing it's original legs...at least it's my feeling that it should have legs. Right now it is on casters.

One additional note...it has original oak shelves and no mirror inside.

MAYBE I SHOULD ADD THIS QUESTION...HAS ANYONE SEEN A DOUBLE-DOOR BOW-FRONT CABINET BEFORE?? PLEASE RESPOND WITH AT LEAST A YES OR NO.

See attached photo. Many thanks!! Becky

As you probably know..1910s Golden Oak..American, midwest...I have seen two other double doors...its scarce.
Thank you so much for replying!!!  Do you have any idea of the maker?? Probably asking too much. But, I sure do appreciate you telling me something about it!

Should it have legs??  Did the ones you've seen have legs??

Thanks!
Becky
