Guys, have a local auction house advertising the following bench as Horner.  Can you review the pics and give me your honest opinion on whether it would be attr. to Horner or not--just learning my Horner.  One thing I have noticed is anytime something is heavily carved with lions and such, Horner always gets attributed.  Your honest opinions would be appreciated.

Images are small.  Can you post full size or send to me and I'll get them up?
Will send them to you...thanks Rare!  Charles
Unfortunately, I am unaware of an labeled benches like this one.  There were too many competent manufacturers at the time that produced furniture at this level to narrow to Horner.  It should fetch a healthy price nonetheless - especially since they aren't afraid to label it Horner.
Thanks John, I was leaning toward the same evaluation as you gave.  I have since confirmed that there is no Horner label attached to this piece anywhere, so I think that calling it Horner may be stretching things a bit.  Nonetheless, a nice piece.  Thanks for your help.  Charles.
