The bed and dresser are Aesthetic - we believe the pair to be Cincinnati Art Carving, but really aren't sure of the maker.  Some of the carving seems similar to a "Rogers & Son" labeled set currently on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250284486752 but I'd say the carving quality on our set is superior.  Also, the set on Ebay appears to feature large single wheel porcelain castors, while our set features dual wheel rosewood castors.  I'm curious if anyone has ever seen something similar.

Our armoire is Gothic.  The seller thought it to be Pabst, but I highly doubt it.  I tend to think it is European in origin but I'm not familiar with how to distinguish English walnut from American black walnut.  I guess I could check the secondary wood to see what it is - perhaps that would provide a clue.  Regardless, we got a great deal on it and desperately needed the storage space considering the small closets in our house.

Your armoire is stylistically related to both this bookcase and library table we know to have a Philadelphia-area provenance. While we cannot firmly attribute them to Daniel Pabst, or more properly to Frank Furness (who designed a good deal of Pabst's Reformed Gothic output), it seems likely that they are indeed the product of that partnership. I should also mention that Pabst also drew heavily for his Reformed Gothic work from the published works of Bruce Talbert (in terms of form) and Dr. Christopher Dresser (in terms of ornament).

Several details of your armoire are Furnessian... the "piston"-like ring turnings, the match-stick slanted "roof", and the chamfering and termination of the finials. In fact, the finials are quite similar to detailing of a known Furness/Pabst table now at Theodore Roosevelt's Long Island home, Sagamore Hill.

Thanks for the information!  Our armoire definitely shares traits with the bookcase.  My wife, who studied architectural history, knew of Furness but not of the partnership with Pabst.  We'll have to plan a trip to Sagamore Hill.

On a side note, Presidential homes seem to be a treasure trove for period furniture.  We recently visited the James A. Garfield National Historic Site http://www.nps.gov/jaga/ and were thrilled to see a houseful of incredible furniture.  Lucretia Garfield evidently kept detailed records of every purchase and gift.  It would be wonderful to have that information to help in attributing other pieces.  As it was, I think we annoyed our tour guide with our constant comments and questions about the furniture.  If anyone is ever near Mentor, OH I highly recommend a visit.
