There is an extension that is stored under the table, and there is a ring attached to a wire under the table that I assume unlocks the extension. The table top has some wear on it (scratches, nicks, discoloration). I'd like to sell this, but I have no idea what it is worth. Thanks!
Your table is from the 1920's or 30's. It is what is commonly referred to as "Depression Era" furniture - it is not from the Victorian era. Not a highly collected or terribly valuable era or style of furniture. The scratches will also lower it's value. Value would be $100 or less for your table without matching chairs - the lower the price - the quicker it will sell.
A good place to sell it would be Craigslist - it's free, many people use it and it's local to you so readers/ buyers can pick it up (not easily shippable - or affordable). Go to www.craigslist.org click on your state, then the area near you - then click "Post to Classifieds". Good pictures will help sell an item there. Good luck w/ it.

Thanks. That was my feeling, but I just wanted to be sure before I try to get rid of it. Craigslist it is, and I definitely won't ask more than $50!
