History on this??
I am trying to determine history and value to this settee.
Your sofa is Renaissance Revival style but not Jelliff, circa 1860-1880. I can point out the cresting on the sofa back as being too naturalistic and flowing to be Eastlake. Eastlakes are abstract and rectilinear in design.
Look around on the web for Renaissance Revival sofas/sets like the one I have provided the link to below. The sofa is a similar form to yours. They are asking around $5,000 for the 7-piece set in a retail, dealer venue.

Your sofa is probably worth between $400 and $900 depending upon where you sell it and how long you wait for your price. I was not able to match it up exactly with any sofas in my reference material.

I am in complete agreement with John on this, although I feel $900 might be a bit of a stretch. I would estimate value at around $400 to $750, though having said that you might have a good day and get a bit more.
