How To Add Events to the Calendar

If you'd like to add an auction event or other event to the Calendar:

1. Click on "Calendar" at the top of this page.  You will then be presented with a calendar of the current month. 
2. Click "Post Event" at the bottom. 
3. Enter details of the event and submit
4. After posting your event to the calendar it will automatically take you to a page to add a corresponding "Auction Watch" board topic where you can put more descriptive information, if you like.  This is just like a normal message board posting.  The post and the calendar event are then linked.

Once the calendar entry and the message on the board are submitted, board visitors will be able to access the information in two ways.  When you click on the item on the calendar, you'll be taken to the board message that is linked to it.  When you go directly to the message on the message board, there will be a "Linked Events" notice above the message.

If you want to add a corresponding calendar entry for a posting already on the message board:
1. Go to the message that you want to create a linked calendar entry for
2. Click "Link to Calendar" on the bottom left of the page
3. Enter calendar entry details
