Full catalogue is still not online, but there are several items chronicled in a "highlights" page.
Does anyone know if the full catalogue is going to be available online? I would love to see it (and possibly bid), but I'm surprised to see that it's still not posted, considering the auction is about two weeks away.
I spoke too soon! The entire catalogue is now online!
I was going thru the catalog and came across the Hunzinger chairs.I presently don't have a Hunzinger but that may soon change. Wow,can't seem to look away. The Jelliff chairs look nice as well, from the time when Jelliff was still alive and working.

Lot's of stuff to like in there. This is one of the oddest configuration parlor tables I've seen. I'm taken by the Gothic revival chairs that transition into Rococo. Of course the list goes on as to what I like...
The last time (January '08) one of those Hunzinger chairs was sold, it went for $4,300. A pair sold for $11,400 in 2005 at Sotheby's.

I have a list as well. I never was able to focus on what I collected. Rococo in one room and Renaissance in another. At some point I will have to decide I'm running out of space and money. I always seem to justify the need for yet another sofa. How can you pass up a Jelliff or Meeks "Henry Ford" sofa? I feel for my wife. I think she hates the day Neal auctions catalog comes in the mail. At least I'm zoomed in on a particular half century, right!

John, I agree with you on the need for just one more sofa! ;D My wife and daughter are convinced that I have an addiction. Maybe Rare Victorian should start another board concerning the 12 step process for recovery from antiques! LOL!!! ;D Charles.
Well the bar has been raised on Hunzinger. I thought I would have two in my collection by now, need less to say I didn't even get the chance to push the bid now button. I guess it was meant to be.It was very interesting having two nice auctions going on at the same time.I left empty handed but enjoyed the heck out of it. There was a Jelliff chair in Fontaines , I thought I was high bidder then it closed with a floor bid. Oh well, I've been on the other side before. Should you really want a item either try to be on the floor or set up as a phone bidder, lesson learned.

Those Hunzinger chairs were amazing, but even I was shocked at how much they went for. Wow.
Folks, I think it is time to buy Hunzinger. If I could buy calls on Hunzinger I would.
I saw one of the chairs go for $10.5, what did the other go for?

The other Hunzinger went for $15,500. It had upholstery on it but certainly not original. Quite amazing!
