I have a 1/4 sawn oak parlor table that I have been told may be made by Hunzinger. There is no label. Claw feet are brass with wooden balls, shelf is held by brass lions. Can anyone give me any insight as to who may be the manufacturer. thanks

Writing from the cell but I bet when I see it later that it's Merklen Bros from your description.
Hey - How come you glued the carpet and table to the side wall? Or maybe you just didn't rotate the picture - it's a lot easier to look at a piece of furniture right side up.
Now that I've seen it, it appears to be Merklen Brothers. One small picture and not seeing in person tempers that attribution, but it appears to be so. We've recently seen some repros done on Merklen pieces, but usually they're missing the hardware. The finish looks new. Definitely not Hunzinger.
"The finish looks new."
It's an old piece. It was in pieces when I got it . I reglued and refinished.

Nice job on the restoration. You might be interested in the videos of my Merklen restoration.
Where can one see those restoration videos?
Just click the highlighted purple link "my Merklen restoration." in Rare V's reply above your last post - same thread. A window will pop up with them in it. Just click on them to watch.
