I've just discovered my fascination with Victorian furniture and am looking for pieces to fill my new house with but I don't really know too much about things yet.
Is this a fair price for this couch?

Thanks for any info.

Is this a good price for this sofa or not?

$1,000 is certainly less than what you'd pay for two couches at a furniture store, but I feel like you'd be selling yourself short if you bought these. They are 1970 replicas (notice the carved daisies) with oak veneer. You could buy REAL Victorian sofas made out of solid wood and reupholster them in a historically accurate fabric for less. Please reconsider, but be weary because there certainly are a lot of replicas on craigslist being advertised as genuine, so you may want to post pictures on this forum before you buy.
