Nice looking furniture. You asked about looking for markings or a signature.
Belter furniture either had a paper label or a brand. I have 4 Belter chairs
of which 3 have the paper label in on the upper back under the upholstery
Unfortunately most the paper labels did not survive when people had them
reupholsted or refinished they were removed. I think that your furniture is
not Belter however maybe made by Hinkle. I would say it looks to be of the same
time frame as Belter though.

thank you Mr. Michael...I had the upholstery stripped, which may have removed any existing labels...nothing on the upper backs of the chairs and settee...
