I am a newbie on the site and glad to be part of it as I have been a follower for about a year. My wife and I and ou three small daughters live in a 1883 brick Victorian in Southern Indiana in a Ohio River valley town. We have a house full of Victoian antiques and especially love Aesthetic period furiture and decorative arts. Recently found what I consider to be a quite nice walnut Modern Gothic sideboard bedecked with multiple English Minton tiles at an antique shop. The piece had been marked down to $3400 follwing a price reduction and storewide sale. Finish is good and likely original. No known maker's mark. Am I crazy not to buy this????? Can send image if Ican figure out how to insert it in the posting!
