Hello all,
I am new to this site and am hoping that one of you resident experts can help me identify my chairs.
I got them at an auction where they stated that the chairs were RJ Horner. Since there are no tag I am assuming that they are 'attributed' to... The carving is beautifully done (I am also a wood carver) The leather embossed seat and back are still very soft.  the back has a crest surrounded by a double headed eagle topped with a crown.  if anyone can help and need better pictures let me know.
Thank,
Heish

Since there are griffins on it, the seller jumped to the Horner attribution.  Looks European to me (picture is even named "prussian chair 1.jpg"), but not for sure.

Will be hard to get a firm link to Horner without a similar chair with a label being seen elsewhere.  Nice chair regardless.
