My husband and I have two JP Horner pieces, a chest of drawers w/mirror and a vanity with mirror. We have no idea what they are worth. The pieces need to be refinished and slilghtly repaired. Is there a market for this furniture? JUST ADDED PHOTOS

Nice set. I'm not familiar with JP Horner. Is there a label?
Yes. Each piece has a label. One is paper, printed R.J. Horner & Co., Furniture Makers & Importers. There is a partial address in NYC. The other lable is made of a hard material and is nailed into the piece. It has printed, R.J. Horner & Co., Furniture Makers, 61, 63, 65, West 3rd St. N.Y. I do not know a thing about antiques. If I keep these pieces, I was thinking of refinishing them. However, I do not know if that will alter the value. I do not even know if they have any value.
